A very warm welcome to this site. You will find information about me, my (freelance) work and on my journey to South Sudan.
I currently work at a social housing association focussing on strategy development, organisational development and development of new initiatives. An interesting and challenging position. I occasionally take on freelance work to keep my mind fresh and add value in other places. I am a volunteer with the Peace Brigades International (PBI) and ambassador of the Maanda Foundation.
Something short on my profile:
I am a business professional in strategy development, change management and spatial planning. I am highly effective in roles varying from (project) manager to consultant, from facilitator to coach. I have extensive experience in the world of urban development and social housing. More recently I worked in the areas of good governance and democracy in the development world (South Sudan, 2012-2013).
I am people-oriented, committed, creative, direct, smart and hands-on. I have the ability to organize and create structure from what seems chaos. I think in possibilities and work in partnership with others to achieve results. I move forward from what is present, strive to add value and will go that extra mile.
